Reporting to:

Mine Overseer

Minimum qualifications and skills:

Matric certificate or equivalent

Survey diploma or certificate of competence in Mine Survey

Elementary Mine Survey Government Ticket

Valid driver’s license

Medically fit

Fully proficient in Microsoft and AutoCAD packages

Experience:

3 years experience as a Surveyor in mine development operations

Understanding of legal mining standards

Responsibilities:

Survey duties in the working area where appointed

Updating of mine survey plans

Monthly measuring and quality inspection of work done

Presentation of new mining layouts
